Hi all! Can I use l2tpv3 for creating PtP connections without ppp session ? ex. ip-ip tunnel. I wanted for translation vlan over l2tpv3 pseudowire (ex. cisco, xconnect)

OpenL2TP doesn't support L2TPv3. But its commercial derivative ProL2TP does. Or if you want static (unmanaged) ethernet pseudowires, no L2TP daemon is needed - L2TPv3 drivers have recently been added to the Linux kernel from 2.6.35.
