Is there anyone who have used openl2tp to build a LNS-only server?
I tried this on RHEL6.0, kernel version 2.6.38.8 with ippoold 1.3 and openl2tp 1.8.
When compiled, the Makefile was modified as follows:

#L2TP_FEATURE_LAC_SUPPORT= y
L2TP_FEATURE_LNS_SUPPORT= y
L2TP_FEATURE_RPC_MANAGEMENT= y
#L2TP_FEATURE_LAIC_SUPPORT= y
#L2TP_FEATURE_LAOC_SUPPORT= y
L2TP_FEATURE_LNIC_SUPPORT= y
L2TP_FEATURE_LNOC_SUPPORT= y
L2TP_FEATURE_LOCAL_CONF_FILE= y
#L2TP_FEATURE_LOCAL_STAT_FILE= y

First i started the ippoold and load the kernel modules for l2tp and ppp.
I wrote only 1 line to the file /etc/openl2tpd.conf as follows:
ppp profile modify profile_name=default ip_pool_name=default

After started the openl2tpd, it did not accept the incoming call, LAC send SCCRQ to it ,but it responsed StopCCN to the LAC.

Is there any profile should i create for peer? I just want to accept request for creating tunnels and sessions between whoever sends a SCCRQ to me without any authentication, and use ppp chap-secrets for ppp connection authentication. The peer IP is not sure.
I mean support LNS incoming calls without authentication and IP limitation.

Sorry for wasting your time for this question. After several days i've found that the problem is: i don't enable lns auth_mod, but the LAC want auth.
